The wind blew her hair into her face, and Kristine let it. The annoyance was a small price to pay for the experience of being in this place. She let the peace wash over her. God, she needed this. It may not have been how she had planned it (not that she had tried to plan everything down to the last second or anything), but this moment was perfectly tailored to her.

Kristine refused to let any thoughts of Aaron impede her. She had been the one to plan this trip down to the very last detail, not him. In fact, him not coming along gave her a bigger budget for activities and tours that she knew he wouldn’t have wanted to participate in…

Shaking her head to dispel those thoughts, Kristine walked towards the cliffs. Thankful that she was able to experience the beauty of the Cliffs of Moher, she inhaled deeply and let the freedom of this beautiful place wash over her. The air almost seemed to be cleansing. It was as if this very moment was the beginning of something great and wonderful, even though she wouldn’t fully realize it until later. Her inner voice was shouting through the layers of commitments and professionalism and manners. The muffled undertone gave her hope, when she couldn’t quite hear the complete message.

Hope. Peace. Love. All emotions that Kristine had not felt in so long. This was it. This was the place. She needed to be here and experience this moment in time. How did she know? It was complicated. Emotions and intuition and the wild magic of the cliffs made her believe that change was on the horizon.
